Trash Collection
Residential Rates
Residential rates are $24.14 per month. This rate is for once-a-week curbside collection, including curbside recycling with a 96-gallon bin. You may elect to add an additional cart for $9.63 a month. Carts and bins are provided by Waste Management. A single-family residence is provided with one cart and one recycling bin.
8.25% sales tax is charged on all garbage collection services.
Please place your cart and recycling bin curbside no later than 7 am on the day of collection. Place the cart within three feet of the curb with the wheels of the cart toward your house to allow the automated arm of the collection truck to reach the cart from the street. Please place the cart at least two feet from any obstruction such as a mailbox or a wall.
Do not place carts and bins curbside before 6 pm the day prior to your scheduled collection. All carts and bins must be removed from the curbside no later than midnight of the scheduled collection day.
All garbage must be placed inside the cart. The cart must be kept closed to prevent littering and to render contact inaccessible to insects, rodents, and other animals.
