The City of Marble Falls Parks and Recreation Department will host an Arbor Day Celebration on Tuesday, November 12, at 9:00 am. The celebration will take place near the streetscape on Fourth Street between Main Street and Avenue J.
As Texans, we value our trees and the benefits they provide each of us daily. Benefits like clean air and water improve our health and save us money on energy bills. As a Silver Star Affiliate of Keep Texas Beautiful, the City of Marble Falls wishes to show its continuing efforts to achieve these benefits by celebrating Texas Arbor Day. We encourage residents in our community to join the fun by planting native trees, a prominent and beautiful feature of our Hill Country landscape, and helping Keep Marble Falls Beautiful.
Mayor Rhodes will attend the celebration to read a proclamation recognizing Arbor Day in the City of Marble Falls. The reading of the proclamation will be followed by planting 12 Texas native trees within the streetscape.
The public is encouraged to attend the Arbor Day Celebration.
