The US National Weather Service Austin-San Antonio Texas has extended the Winter Storm Warning to 6 a.m. on Thursday, February 2. Below are changes to City facility hours and events for Wednesday, February 1, due to the extended Winter Storm Warning:
All City Offices, including the Marble Falls Public Library, Marble Falls Parks and Recreation Department, Marble Falls Development Services, and City Hall, will be closed. Essential personnel will continue to report to work and provide our critical services.
Municipal Court hearings initially scheduled for Wednesday, February 1, have been canceled due to inclement weather. The Court staff will contact you to reschedule hearings.
The Building Department will not be conducting Building Inspections on Wednesday, February 1.
Parks and Recreation's Youth Basketball League practices are canceled. City parks are expected to remain open. However, some park amenities, such as restrooms, are closed. Please use caution while in the parks.
Trash and Recycling - The City's collection contractor, WM (Waste Management), has delayed regular trash and recycling collection due to unsafe driving conditions.
