[ARCHIVED] Independence Day Celebration Returns to Lakeside Park

The City of Marble Falls will host its annual Independence Day Celebration along with a community fireworks show over Lake Marble Falls on Sunday, July 4th

Fireworks will begin at approximately 9:15 pm. The fireworks will be shot from a barge located in the middle of Lake Marble Falls. Boats are permitted on the lake during the show, yet all boats need to be on the water and set in their selected location by 8:00 p.m. Public viewing of the free fireworks display can best be seen from the Lakeside Park Beach.  Spectators are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets. Please no glass containers or alcohol.

The Lakeside Park swimming pool will be open from Noon to 5:00 pm.   Admission is free.   The pool will close at 5:00 pm.  Food vendors will open at 5:00 pm.

Entertainment will start at 6:00 pm, with Zeke Hamilton performing live music at the Lakeside Pavilion patio, followed by Red Carpet Chaos around 7:45 pm.

Parking will be available at Lakeside and Johnson Parks, along Lakeshore Drive, with overflow parking at the field across Johnson Park Ball Field.
