Due to safety concerns the tree on the southeast corner of Third and Main is scheduled to be removed on Thursday, February 28. While working on the upcoming Harmony Park. Public Works crews discovered the tree had severe trunk rot at the soil line. The tree will be replaced in the near future.
To minimize the impact on local businesses and traffic no street closures are expected at this time.
