[ARCHIVED] Free Monthly Brush Pickup Added as Marble Falls Extends Solid Waste Contract

The City of Marble Falls is excited to announce a new three-year contract extension with Waste Management, ensuring continued reliable trash collection for residents through September 28, 2028.

As part of the agreement, Waste Management will also begin offering monthly brush pick-up starting November 1, 2025, at no additional cost to residents. Current service rates will remain the same, giving citizens the convenience of an extra service to help keep yards and properties clear of brush.

“This contract extension is an important step forward for our community,” said Caleb Kraenzel, City Manager. “We’re not only guaranteeing consistent, dependable waste collection, but we’re also expanding services without increasing costs. It’s a win-win for our city.”

The agreement highlights the City’s ongoing partnership with Waste Management, emphasizing dependable service, community cleanliness, and sustainability. By adding brush pick-up, Marble Falls and Waste Management are meeting the evolving needs of residents while keeping services affordable.
