MARBLE FALLS, TX – Marble Falls Fire Rescue is proud to announce the arrival of the highly anticipated new Pierce Enforcer ladder truck, which features a 100-foot mid-mount aerial tower. The ladder truck, made by Pierce and purchased from Siddons-Martin Emergency Group, has traveled from the Pierce Manufacturing facility in Appleton, Wisconsin, to Marble Falls.
The Enforcer enhances the department’s ability to respond to emergencies and furthers the commitment of protecting the community. With an increasing number of calls in recent years due to the city’s growth, this new truck enables the department to handle fires, rescues, and other critical situations involving multi-level properties, businesses, and apartment complexes better.
It also bolsters Marble Falls Fire Rescue’s ability to contain large fires, as the mid-mount bucket lift allows firefighters to rise and project heavy streams of water from an aerial vantage point, giving them more control over the direction a fire rages in.
“This new ladder truck provides us better firefighting capabilities for commercial and multi-story facilities in the city,” said Thomas Crane, Marble Falls Fire Rescue Fire Chief. “And the mid-mount feature allows us much more range when it comes to water rescue and fire containment situations than the old rear-mount fire truck provided.”
This now gives Marble Falls Fire Rescue three emergency response vehicles, joining the two fire engines currently deployed in emergency situations, with one more fire engine slated to arrive in June of 2026. Marble Falls Fire Rescue will begin training on the new ladder truck on April 8, which will continue throughout the week.
