TxDOT is scheduled to resurface US Highway 281 and RM 1431 during July and August.
Beginning Sunday, July 21, TxDOT will resurface US Highway 281 from Third Street south to FM 2147 East. Work is expected to be completed within two weeks of the start date.
RM 1431 work will begin around August 11 and is expected to be completed in four weeks. Crews will resurface RM 1431 from Avenue U west to the city limits.
All work will be done at night, beginning at 7:00 pm.
Project timelines are subject to weather conditions.
There may be minor traffic delays during work; however, the roads will remain open.
