Are there ordinances that can be used to encourage land owners to clear their property? Could this be a joint effort with residents and home-owners who live in areas close to these areas? What can we learn from the fires in Bastrop and the measures that community is taking to prevent further loss of property?

I see many people on the side of the road walking or bike riding. Carts has limited availability. we should have regular bus stops.

At one point I saw that the city planned on putting sidewalks down Northwood Drive but now have seemed to loose steam on the idea. I have 5 children and I am fearful for their safety because of the traffic down our street. Sidewalks are a must and speed bumps would be very welcomed by most (if not all) of the neighborhood. We need traffic to slow down for the safety of our families and property. We have had to replace our mailbox 3 times in the past 3 years due to hit and runs on our street. People speed through the neighborhood and it's too much for the police to just sit stationary for an issue that could be solved in other ways.

Marble Falls Middle School students often walk in the streets around their school. Could we see an audit of where our property tax dollars are going so we can get a clearer picture of why the neighborhoods nearest the middle and elementary schools lack sidewalks? I will gladly give up a six foot wide path in my front yard for them. I bet most folks would rather loose six feet of yard than to see school aged kids walking in the road to avoid trespassing in people's yards. Sidewalks improve the look of the area, and most importantly offer safer commute to and from school.
